About Young Scholars Program

UC San Diego CREATE is excited to announce that registration for Young Scholars Program - Summer 2026 is now open! Young Scholars Program is a family-paid enrichment program provided by UC San Diego CREATE for middle school and high school students. It is an opportunity for young people to continue practicing and learning during the summer and to explore novel topics and interdisciplinary instruction tailored to their unique grade level and interests on the UC San Diego campus.

The Young Scholars Program provides the unique learning opportunity for students to experience the enjoyment and power of learning in an environment distinct from the traditional school day. It is also a phenomenal opportunity for educators to enjoy the creativity and freedom to educate kids outside of the confines of the classroom, state standards, and traditional assessments.
